Potawatomi Casino Hotel to close June 12-13 for electrical upgrades

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Potawatomi Casino Hotel has announced plans for a brief closure while undergoing electrical upgrades June 12-13.

The upgrades are tied to its current $100 million renovation project. 

Potawatomi says all hotel guests will be checked out of the property at noon Monday, June 12. The property's restaurants will close at 8 p.m., followed by the gaming floor at 10 p.m.

It's anticipated that the casino and restaurants will reopen to visitors by 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, and guests will once again be allowed to check in at 3 p.m.

Potawatomi says the Sky Bridge walkway from the parking structure to the casino and the escalators to the third floor will also be closed for renovations from June 12-July 11. 

Guests may use the first floor south lobby or hotel lobby to enter the casino during this time.
