Portion of Hank Aaron State Trail to close during run of State Fair

CBS 58 WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A portion of the Hank Aaron State Trail will once again be closed during the Wisconsin State Fair run, July 31-Aug. 10.
The closure will be between 76th and 84th Street for the entirety of the fair run.
The Hank Aaron State Trail runs east-west and passes over State Fair Park north of west Schlinger Avenue.
State Fair officials say this is for safety reasons.
Alternative routes are available in both directions.
