Portillo's giving fans a chance to win food for a year during Italian Beef Week

CHICAGO (CBS 58) — Portillo’s is announcing the launch of Italian Beef Week from May 21 – 27. During the week the restaurant will offer two regular Italian Beef Sandwiches for $10.

With Beef Week Portillo's is offering fans a chance to win food for a year through the Rhyme Time Challenge. Portillo's is known for announcing orders with a number like “Number 7, you’re in heaven!” and “Number 9, it’s time to dine.” Now fans are invited to create their own rhyme.

Portillo’s customers can submit their rhyme at portillos.com/rhymetime throughout the week of Italian Beef Week. The first-place winner will receive free Portillo’s food for a year and their rhyme will used by employees in all Portillo’s restaurants nationwide. Second and third place winners will be awarded a swag bag with Portillo’s merchandise and a $25 gift card.

To be eligible, submitted rhymes must end with a number 0-9. All entries must rhyme, be free of inappropriate language, and must not be a rhyme already used by the Portillo’s team.
