PORT WASHINGTON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- CBS 58 was told it took only fifteen minutes for 10-year-old Zoe Fertnig to come up with a "little ditty" about the state of Wisconsin. It's called "Over the Lilac Tree." Here are the lyrics:
OVER THE LILAC TREE WE GO
OVER THE LILAC TREE WE ROAM
WE GO OVER MEADOWS
WE ROAM IN NEW ORLEANS
BUT WHEN WE COME TO WISCONSIN
YIPPEE DOODLE DEE
Michael Schlesinger had the chance to speak to Zoe to hear her story about music, life, and her love of Taylor Swift.
