MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Nomad Pub on Brady Street opened up its patio for those wanting the COVID vaccine.
Hayat Pharmacy partnered with the bar to offer the vaccine.
The Brady Street Business Improvement District helped organize the event.
CBS 58 talked with one man who was planning to get the vaccine, but just didn't know when.
When he heard it was being offered down the street, he went and got his shot.
"I think it’s awesome. I definitely was not expecting to get my vaccine at Nomad or a bar, but I went when I heard it," said Chris Hutchens. "Super convenient and easy stop right on Brady Street for people to get it, so I thought it was pretty cool."
The executive director for the Brady Street Business Improvement District says if the event is popular, they will look at hosting similar clinics along Brady Street.
