It's another day with poor air quality as Candian wildfire smoke has mixed down into our surface. Numbers as of 5am are still showing the air quality is in the moderate category for most, with the thickest of this morning's smoke areas into farthest south/southwest WI. An air quality alert remains in effect until noon today, so by this afternoon, the air quality should start to improve!
Unfortunately, by later this evening, smoke will likely thicken back up with thicker smoke in store for the weekend ahead.
Otherwise, we are quiet today with plenty of sunshine, and that's how almost the next week will stay!
Temps along with dew points will stay comfy this weekend, before temps gradually warm next week as well as the humidity.
