Police union to hold no-confidence vote on Chief Flynn

Milwaukee's police union is preparing to hold a no confidence vote on Chief Ed Flynn.

Thursday's scheduled vote is non-binding but serves as a show of support for fired officer Christopher Manney. Flynn fired Manney in mid-October for violating department procedure and patting down Dontre Hamilton, which led to a struggle that ended with Manney fatally shooting Hamilton.

Union President Mike Crivello says the results of the vote will be released on Friday morning.
