Police seek suspects in downtown Milwaukee shooting that injured 39-year-old man

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating suspects wanted in a shooting that occurred near James Lovell and Wisconsin Avenue on March 22. 

Police say the victim confronted one of the suspects attempting to steal his property and was shot. All three suspects fled the scene around 5 p.m. The victim -- a 39-year-old Milwaukee man -- was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Suspect #1 is described as an African American male, 15-19 years old, wearing a black North Face jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt, stonewashed jeans and black shoes. He was armed with a handgun.

Suspect #2 is described as an African American male, 15-19 years old, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white/black shoes. 

Suspect #3 is described as an African American male, 15-19 years old, wearing a blue jacket, black, hooded sweatshirt with writing on the hood, a Nike camouflaged backpack, light-colored jeans and black shoes.
