Police find missing 61-year-old man with Alzheimer's and dementia

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department announced Sunday afternoon, Oct. 31, that 61-year old critical missing man David R. Nelson has been located and is safe.

Nelson had reportedly been missing since 3 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31 but is now located and safe from harm.

Milwaukee police thanked the public for their assistance in the case Sunday.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is searching for a critically missing 61-year-old man who suffers from Alzheimer's and dementia Sunday, Oct. 31.

Police say that the missing man, David R. Nelson, was last seen Sunday, Oct. 31, around 3 a.m. near 55th and Silver Spring.

Authorites describe Nelson as a  5'07",190 pound black male with slim build, a bald head and a gray beard.

Officials report that Nelson was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light blue jeans, and red, white and blue FILA tennis shoes.

Anyone with information on Nelson's whereabouts is asked to contact the Milwaukee Police Department Sensitive Crimes Division at 414-935-7401.
