Argument leads to shooting near 103rd and Silver Spring, 23-year-old man injured
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that took place Wednesday afternoon, June 23, near a north side Walmart.
Authorities say it happened near 103rd and Silver Spring around 12:29 p.m.
The victim, a 23-year-old Milwaukee man, exchanged gunfire with a suspect during an argument and was struck.
He was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
One witness we spoke with says he was shocked by the sudden violence.
"I'm very surprised. I mean, wow, I'm always coming up here, bringing my wife here," said Michael Jackson. "This...wow. I'm shocked. I'm so shocked, I hate that it happened."
Police continue to seek an unknown suspect.
