Police respond to fatal shooting near 24th and Auer

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office is responding to a fatal shooting near 24th and Auer St.
Police say the shooting took place just before 10:00 a.m. The victim was found in a vacant lot near 24th and Auer suffering from a gunshot wound. He died there as a result of his wounds.
Police have yet to release the identity of the victim. They continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the shooting.
