Police: Minibike driver killed after accident with city bus in Racine

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A minibike driver is dead after an accident involving a city owned bus on Tuesday, Sept. 28.

Racine police say it happened near Yout and Carter around 7:47 p.m.

Police say the operator of the minibike, a 28-year-old man, was not wearing a helmet and appeared to sustain severe head trauma.

Life saving measures were attempted, but the man died due to his injuries.

Racine police investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this crime.
