Police: Milwaukee woman arrested after robbing bank, causing multiple crashes in Brown Deer
BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police are investigating a robbery that ended in a pursuit and crash in Brown Deer Thursday, March 4.
Brown Deer police officers responded to the Tri City National Bank inside Pick 'n Save on Green Bay Road around 6:55 p.m. for a reported hold up.
While on the way, a suspect description was provided, and Glendale police located the fleeing vehicle and initiated a pursuit.
The suspect struck two other vehicles during the pursuit, causing property damage only.
Police say it ended near 61st and Villard in the city of Milwaukee after the suspect vehicle was involved in another property damage crash.
The suspect, a 34-year-old Milwaukee woman, is currently in custody.
Police say no weapon was displayed at the bank, and no one was injured during the robbery.
