Shorewood Police say around 5:00 AM a Shorewood Community Service Officer reported a suspicious car near East Pinedale Court and North Morris Boulevard. Responding officers were told it was a stolen car.
When officers arrived the car drove at the officers and hit two squad cars. An Shorewood Police Officer fired their weapon but no one was injured.
Following the shooting, police pursued the car until it stopped near North Holton and East Vienna Avenue and the suspects fled on foot. One suspect was taken into custody but a second suspect is still on the run,
Police recovered a gun from the car.
The officer that fired his gun has 15 years of service and is on administrative duty. The investigation is being handled by the Milwaukee County Investigative Team.
