Police Investigate Three Separate Shootings Friday Night, Two Killed

Milwaukee Police are investigating three shootings that occurred Friday night and Saturday morning. The two homicide deaths mark the 100th and 101st homicides of the year in Milwaukee.

Police are investigating a homicide that occurred at 1:55 AM outside a tavern  in the 1500 block of W. Scott on Saturday.

After arguing with two unknown subjects while exiting a tavern the victim, a 35-year-old male from Milwaukee entered his auto and attempted to run over the suspects.

One of the male suspects shot at the car striking the victim. The victim then drove to 16th and W. National where he died from his injury.

The Milwaukee Police are also investigating a shooting that occurred at 9:48 PM in the 3300 block of W. Center Street on Friday.

The 16-year-old victim from Milwaukee indicated that as he was walking down the street he heard gunshots and then realized that he had been shot.

He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury.

A third shooting happened earlier in the evening on Friday where a man was shot on the south side. Police are searching for up to five suspects for possible gang related activity. You can read more about that shooting here.
