Police Chase Leads to Arrest of Suspect Sought for Six Robberies

On Wednesday, October 28 at about 8:10 PM, Milwaukee Police officers found a Brown Chevy Equinox, taken in an armed robbery in the area of North 25th and Center Streets. A traffic stop was attempted but the vehicle’s driver refused to pull over and fled from the police.

Officers pursued the Chevy to the 4800 block of West Fond du Lac Avenue. Three suspects jumped out of the vehicle and it struck a tree. After a short foot pursuit all three suspects were arrested.

Milwaukee Police arrested a 17-year-old male, a 18-year old woman, and a 16-year old juvenile female all from Milwaukee. The 16-year-old female driving the stolen Chevy is believed to be involved in six robberies that happened over the last three days throughout Milwaukee.

She was recently released from GPS monitoring as part of a sentence related to delinquency adjudication for operating an auto without owner’s consent.

The Milwaukee Area Violent Crimes Task Force continues this investigation. The case will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
