Police chase ends in crash on I-43 and Brown Deer Road

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A police chase that started near downtown Milwaukee ended with a crash several miles away on the north shore.

Officers saw the man driving recklessly near Fond Du Lac and McKinley Avenue just before 4 a.m. Wednesday.

The driver refused to stop, and led police on a chase before crashing on the exit ramp at Brown Deer Road and I-43.

Police say the 32-year-old driver was arrested on scene and taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.

Officers think the man could have been under the influence at the time.
