Police called after children spray neighbor's home with squirt gun

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- St. Francis Police were called to a neighborhood over the weekend for a dispute between two neighbors.

A woman called police around 2:29 p.m. on Sunday to report having trouble with her neighbor.

Police responded to the home on Cudahy Avenue and learned that the woman's children were outside playing in the rain and splashing in puddles when the neighbor opened his window and yelled at them, stating that he was calling the police.

The woman just wanted police to speak with her neighbor.

The neighbor admitted to police that he yelled at the children because they were playing with a squirt gun and it was spraying his house.

Both parties were advised to be more neighborly with each other.

Police say that future complaints could result in citations being issued.
