MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run.
According to police, a mother and her daughter were struck by a vehicle driving reckless at high speeds near N. 76th St. and W. Calumet Rd. around 7:50 p.m., Wednesday.
The victim, a 7-year-old Milwaukee girl, succumbed to her injuries from the crash.
The unknown occupants of the striking vehicle fled the scene.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say a 7-year-old child was killed in a car accident Wednesday night, Oct. 28.
It happened near 76th and Calumet Road just before 8:30 p.m.
Officials say the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another person was transported to Froedtert Hospital.
