Police: 27-year-old woman shot while inside vehicle near 28th and Center

The Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that happened around 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon near 28th and Center.

The victim, a 27-year-old Milwaukee woman, was inside her vehicle when a male suspect in a nearby vehicle shot her.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Milwaukee Police are currently working to determine the circumstances that led up to the shooting and are searching for the suspect.
