Plane makes emergency landing in Sheboygan County field

A pilot was forced to make an emergency landing in a farm field in the Town of Wilson Sunday morning.

The FAA called the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office around 11:30 am to inform them that a plane had crashed in southern Sheboygan County.

A short time later a Cleveland, WI man called 911 and said that he lost engine power and make an emergency landing in a field on County Highway A north of County Highway V.

The pilot was not injured and his plane had remained intact with no fuel leakage.

The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office along with other Sheboygan County officials responded to the scene.

The FAA will handle the remainder of the investigation.
