Plane crash in Kenosha County kills two

Two men are dead after an aircraft on its way to the annual Experimental Aircraft Association Air Show in OshKosh crashed in Kenosha County over the weekend.

At 10:14 Sunday morning, The Winnebago County Sheriff's office contacted the Kenosha County Sheriff's office after the expected plane was about 20 hours overdue.

Sheriff's deputies and the Wisconsin Civil Air Patrol searched for the plane and around 12:38PM discovered the Zenith CH601XL aircraft in a grassy field in the town of Bristol, with two deceased men inside.

The exact time of the crash is unknown but it is said to be within 24 hours of when the aircraft was discovered.

No one else was hurt.
