York (WPMT) -- Authorities are investigating the death of a man who died Feb. 13 in York City, 21 years after he was shot.
Juan Sanchez, 36, was paralyzed by a shooting in 1992 and ultimately died from medical complications resulting from the incident, according to the York County Coroner's office.
Sanchez was just 14-years-old when he was shot on June 9, 1992.
Since Sanchez died from complications stemming from the shooting, his death is now considered a homicide, Coroner Pam Gay said.
It remains unclear if District Attorney Tom Kearney will be filing homicide charges in the case.
