MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two people are hurt after being hit by a vehicle near N. 47th St. and W. Locust St. around 10:30 p.m., Wednesday night.
According to Milwaukee Police, a Subaru was traveling on W. Locust St. when the vehicle hit a man crossing through the intersection. The victim, a 35-year-old, was critically injured and transported to a local hospital by Milwaukee Fire Department.
Following the first collision, the Subaru then crashed into a Ford Escort near N. 50th St. and W. Locust. The driver of the Ford Escort was an adult female, and was hurt. She was transported to a local hospital and expected to survive her injuries.
Three suspects fled on foot from the Subaru following the second collision.
MPD said they are searching for the suspects and the investigation is ongoing.
