Pedestrian near bus stop injured during 2-car accident

Police say a crash involving two vehicles collided head on near 27th & Center just before 7:00 Sunday night.

As a result of the accident, a pedestrian standing near a bus stop was injured. That person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

One of the drivers involved in the accident initially fled the scene on foot but did eventually come back.

There were no other injuries reported besides the pedestrian.

Police are still investigating.
