Pedestrian injured during a two vehicle crash in South Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A pedestrian was injured in a car crash this morning in South Milwaukee.

The South Milwaukee Police Department responded to an accident Saturday morning at 9:16 a.m. at North Chicago and College Avenues where two vehicles collided in the intersection. One of the vehicles involved in the accident careened off the road and hit a pedestrian who was waiting at a nearby bus stop.

The pedestrian was transferred to a local hospital with serious injuries.  One of the drivers of the vehicle was also taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.
