MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal car accident where a 35-year-old man was struck near 13th and Cleveland around 9:10 p.m., Tuesday evening.
According to police, the victim came out from between two parked cars and was struck by a vehicle.
The Milwaukee Fire Department attempted life-saving measures while on scene, but were unsuccessful.
The driver of the vehicle contacted police and stayed on the scene, cooperating with the investigation.
The accident will be presented to the DA’s office within the next couple of days.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in Milwaukee.
It happened around 9 p.m. near 13th and Cleveland.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner confirms that they were called out to the scene for a fatality.
There is currently no word on what led up to the fatal accident or if the striking vehicle remained on scene.
