MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Pasta Tree Restaurant & Wine Bar is offering limited-time menu items this month to benefit the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer Fund.
The east side Milwaukee restaurant began serving three specialty macaroni and cheese dishes Tuesday, April 1, with $5 from each sale going to the MACC Fund. The promotion runs through Wednesday, April 30.
Owner Suzzette Metcalfe and Autumn Gentry, director of advocacy and engagement for the MACC Fund, joined us Tuesday, April 8 to discuss the partnership.
The dishes include a truffle option for $32, a seven-cheese version for $24 and a pesto-based variety for $26.
The MACC Fund supports research efforts for childhood cancer and related blood disorders.
