Parents Arrested for Child Abuse on West Atkinson Avenue after Baby Dies

A Milwaukee woman and man were arrested in the 2000 block of West Atkinson Avenue for child abuse after a four-month old died November 7.
India Gilmore was conveyed around 11:00 PM on November 6 to a local hospital and died from her injuries on November 7.
The child’s parents, a 21-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 22-year-old Milwaukee man, were arrested on November 7 for Child Abuse.
MPD’s investigation continues and the case will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
