Parent sues Kenosha School District over access to observe child in class

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- In Kenosha, a parent is suing the school district to allow parental observation in classrooms.

The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty is representing the parent, who asked to see their son in class.

The institute says the mother has been concerned about her son's grades and racial slurs used in school.

The institute claims being denied access to the classroom is a violation of federal law.
