Packers vs. Falcons: 5 things to know about the Monday night matchup

Five things to know about Monday night's Packers-Falcons showdown at Lambeau Field:

1) The Packers are appearing on Monday Night Football for the 22nd straight season. Only the Broncos (23) have a longer streak of appearing in the Monday night matchup.

2) Since Mike McCarthy took over as Packers coach, Green Bay is 15-3 at Lambeau Field in the month of December.

3) Starting hot: in the Packers' last five home games, they've outscored their opponents 79-0 in the first quarter.

4) If Green Bay's offense scores 10 points against the Falcons, they'll move into second place in Packers history for most points scored at home in a season (the 2011 Packers scored 321 points at Lambeau Field).

5) Jordy Nelson has scored at least one touchdown in every home game this season. If he scores two against the Falcons, he'll pass Pittsburgh's Antonio Brown and Denver's Demaryius Thomas for the lead in touchdowns at home for wide receivers in 2014.
