MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Companies raise money for charity in a variety of ways and Sargento has incorporated Green Bay Packers touchdowns into its fundraising efforts.
For every regular season Packers touchdown, Sargento will donate $1,000 to the Hunger Task Force.
At this point, 37 touchdowns means $37,000 was donated.
Runningback Aaron Jones is the top contributor of touchdowns so far this season with 15. He was at the Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The fact his efforts led to a $15,000 donation was not lost on him.
"Just knowing that I'm using my platform for something bigger than football, feeding families and less fortunate people so it's a blessing to me and I thank God," said Jones.
New this year, fans can also help raise donations by liking and sharing an official Touchdowns for Hunger video on social media. Sargento will donate an additional dollar every time a fan shares or retweets it.
