Packers to again welcome group of frontline health care workers at Sunday game

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Green Bay Packers will again host frontline workers, including health care professionals and first responders, at Sunday night’s game against the Tennessee Titans.

The invited group includes approximately 450 frontline workers and their household families, according to a press release. Those invited will sit in socially distanced pods, in compliance with Lambeau Field’s COVID-19 protocols.

The release says workers from the Packers’ health care partner, Bellin Health, as well as workers from other health care systems in the area are among those invited as a "collective show of the community's appreciation." The Packers have also invited gameday public safety partners who have team members in these sectors to identify and invite them to the game.

The team welcomed 250 frontline workers to their game against the Carolina Panthers on Dec. 19.

Packers employees and their immediate families have also been allowed to attend.
