Packers set to announce Titletown District plans Thursday morning

The Green Bay Packers will announce expansion and development plans for area just west of Lambeau Field.  The area is called Titletown District.  Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy will be joined by development participants and community leaders.

Our CBS affiliate in Green Bay says Hinterland Brewery and Restaurant will be in the development...It will also include a high-end hotel built by Kohler, and Bellin Health will build a sports medicine facility.  The Packers have purchased roughly 65 acres between Lambeau Field, and Interstate 41 in small parcels over the last several years.

Additional retail and residential developments are expected in addition to the major anchor stores.  The Packers have also confirmed that the district will include a public plaza.

The press conference is scheduled for 11:45 am Thursday.
