Packers legends hosting fundraiser for Houston

BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) - After watching the destruction Hurricane Harvey did for a week, some Packers legends wanted to raise money that would help in a direct and immediate way. Houston resident and retired Packer Santana Dotson has direct charity connections in Houston and a foundation already established to accept donations. With a mutual desire to help flood victims, Saloon on Calhoun and Dotson agreed to throw together an impromptu fundraiser Sunday, September 3 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. located at Saloon on Calhoun with Bacon at 17000 W Capitol Drive in Brookfield.

Packers legends Santana Dotson, LeRoy Butler, and Gilbert Brown will be signing autographs for $25 each and taking photos for $10 each from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. All proceeds are being donated to the Santana Dotson Foundation.

There will be live music until 8:00 p.m. all donated by local area musicians who want to support the cause.

Saloon will be offering a Hurricane Drink Special with all proceeds going to the Santana Dotson Foundation.

This is a community outreach event, all are welcome to participate and donate. Donations can be made by credit card, check, or on-line. Checks payable to: The Santana Dotson Foundation / Tackling Harvey
