The Green Bay Packers will host a free coaching school for Wisconsin youth football coaches at Lambeau Field on Sunday, June 4.

The complimentary coaching school, funded exclusively by the Packers, will feature classroom sessions in the Lambeau Field Atrium and football drills in the Don Hutson Center. The curriculum is designed exclusively for coaches of youth football teams and offers the opportunity to sharpen skills and learn new approaches to teaching football. Youth football coaches are taught best communication practices toward players, parents, and officials, with the intent to foster positive experiences for all involved with the sport.

In addition, coaches will be instructed on USA Football’s Heads Up Football program, which helps make the game safer through coaching education, Heads Up Tackling techniques, concussion recognition/response protocols and proper equipment fitting.

Members of the media are invited to cover the event at 12:45 p.m., on the fourth floor of the Lambeau Field Atrium. Several speakers, including USA Football master trainer Dave Keel, will be giving presentations. Following the speakers, the event will move to the Don Hutson Center at 1:45 p.m., where fundamentals and drills sessions with taking place.
