Packers fans anxious to get the season started

WAUWATOSA-Packers fans didn't have to wait long for some excitement in the pre-season game against the Raiders.

Eddie Lacy with an early touchdown had a hug roar coming out of Leff's Lucky Town bar where history and future meet each football season.

\"Can't go wrong with that,\" declared Brian Hejdok of West Allis. \"Love it. Packers are looking good.\"

While anxiously awaiting the return of the sport they love, they also had a critical eye to potential team flaws.

\"Oh I love the Packers,\" said Laura Zeisse of Wauwatosa. \"I'm just ready for the season to start.\"

\"The defense could use a little help in the run game,\" her husband Brad added. \"But not bad otherwise.\"

Among many here who hunkered down for a home brew, a respectful agreement to disagree on if pre-season is worth risk of injury.

\"I think they should stop at two or three games,\" said Hejdok.

But as Brad pointed out: \"They have to hit each and get to game speed. If you don't tackle anyone at game speed, they'll run right by you.\"
