Packers drop season opener 36-16 in Seattle

SEATTLE - The Packers didn't get their chance for revenge from the Fail Mary game. In fact, the 2014 matchup wasn't nearly as close as the 2012 one.

Aaron Rodgers threw for just 189 yards and a touchdown, and Seattle ground out 207 yards on the ground en route to a 36-16 win in the NFL season opener.

Eddie Lacy was held to 34 yards on 12 carries. John Kuhn scored the game's first touchdown, diving into the end zone from 2 yards out to give the Packers an early lead. But from there, the Seahawks went on a 26-3 run that included a pair of Marshawn Lynch rushing touchdowns.
