Packers defense stays cool in the final seconds to beat Jags 27-23

The Packers defense was able to come up with one last stop when it counted the most and helped the team hang onto a 27-23 victory against the Jaguars in Jacksonville, Fla.

The Jaguars gave the Packers defense all they could, including converting three straight fourth downs. However, with 23 seconds remaining in the game and the ball on the Packers' 14 yard line, the Jaguars could not convert a 4th-and-one to extend the game.

The Packers took over on downs, and with one kneel down, they escaped the North Florida heat with a victory and a 1-0 record.

Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in Sunday's game.
