GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- About fifty families affected by childhood cancer camped out at Lambeau Field on Friday night to commemorate the second annual "Ultimate Campout Fighting Childhood Cancer."
The event was meant to uplift these families by providing "a joyful, safe haven ... to focus on spending time together, as well as meeting others who have overcome or are facing similar obstacles," per a press release.
The event was a partnership between the Green Bay Packers and Northwestern Mutual. Former Packers great Donald Driver kicked off the event, signing autographs and taking pictures with the kids and their families.
During the campout, families could enjoy an outdoor movie and a behind the scenes tour of Lambeau Field.
