Pabst Theater Group kicks off 'Pabst for Paws' fundraiser to benefit MADACC 🐾
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Pabst Theater Group has started its "Pabst for Paws" fundraiser with the rollout of exclusive Pabst Theater blade sign t-shirts, available in two new designs.
The initiative's earnings will aid the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission in establishing a new outdoor activity zone for the stray, unwanted, abandoned, mistreated and injured dogs that they care for.
Supporters can purchase these limited-edition t-shirts at the fundraiser's website.
Gary Witt, president and CEO of the Pabst Theater Group, stated in a Wednesday, June 14 press release, "While the blade sign represents the Pabst Theater's undeniable impact on the city, it gives us greater joy to know that we can also shine a light on the amazing work that groups like MADACC do."
He added, "MADACC’s tireless efforts to assure safe, temporary shelter and basic veterinary and humane care for over 12,000 animals in Milwaukee County make buying this shirt a great investment in their work."
For those interested in assisting beyond just buying some shirts, the Pabst Theater Group has launched a GoFundMe page to supplement the project's finances. This allows individuals to contribute directly to improving the lives of pets under MADACC's care.
