Ozaukee County Sheriff Releases Name of Motorcyclist that Died in Sunday's Crash

A West Bend man died on Sunday in a motorcycle versus automobile crash in the Town of Saukville, and Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the man that died.

According to the Sheriff's Office the incident occurred at approximately 11:00 AM.

The Ozaukee Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a two vehicle accident at the intersection of STH 33 and CTH I in the Town of Saukville.

The accident investigation found that 30 year old Aleksandr Boreesenko from the Town of Fredonia stopped at the stop sign on CTH I at STH 33 facing southbound. Boreesenko was operating a 2004 Gray Volkswagen Golf, 4-door.

Boreesenko failed to yield the right of way from a stop sign to a motorcycle being operated by 66 year old John Tepper from West Bend.  

Tepper was operating a Black 1996 Harley Davidson FLHTC Electra Glide Classic westbound on STH 33.

The motorcycle struck the Volkswagen Golf and Mr. Tepper died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.  

Boreesenko was not injured in the crash.

A citation has been issued to Aleksandr Boreesenko for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign causing death.  The incident remains under investigation and the results of the crash reconstruction are pending.
