Overnight Mechanical Fire at Bayshore Mall

A small mechanical fire was quickly put out at Bayshore Mall overnight.
Fire officials say a carpet cleaning machine started to smoke.
The operator pulled it outside of the rotunda before there was any damage to the building.
No injuries were reported.
