MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- You want to see some kids who are happy about Christmas? Check out the video from St. Anthony School on Milwaukee's south side.
Santa Claus showed up on Friday, Dec. 20 with presents for more than 500 students from K-4 through the 2nd grade. These children are from families who might not otherwise see a lot of gifts under their tree. They loved opening their presents today at school.
"It's my favorite time of year actually, especially because their innocence and their joy just radiates through them. They're all excited, they're ready to open presents, they're ready to share with their friends. So, it's just really nice to see that innocence come through," said Stephanie Martinez, student service coordinator.
Today's gift delivery was the work of something called the Advent Angels Initiative, and area businesses were behind the effort to make sure each gift.
