Over 250 incidents reported on freeways since Saturday

(CBS 58) -- There were numerous crashes across all of southeast Wisconsin Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning. 3-8" of snow fell across the area.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office responded to 100 incidents since noon on Saturday. 51 of those were damage only crashes, five involved injuries and one crash was reported as OWI related. Deputies responded to 43 disabled cars.

In Waukesha County which saw some of the highest snow totals, 187 incidents were reported. 50 cars went into the ditch, 63 damage crashes were reported, 23 crashes with injuries and 15 unknown accidents. Deputies there responded to 36 disabled cars.
