MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department tells CBS 58 that one person has died at a fire on Milwaukee's north side.
The fire was reported around 7:50 a.m. near 84th and Lisbon.
The original report came in as a basement fire. Firefighters found a man in the basement and removed him. Paramedics tried to revive the man but he died on scene.
Fire officials tell CBS 58 that the building is a business with apartments in the basement and second floor.
The basement was significantly damaged in the fire, but the other floors were not severely damaged.
