Menomonee Falls (CBS58)--One local bank is trading money for menus. Today is the last day for "Fuel Our Front Line." Since Wednesday, "First Bank Financial Centre" has been feeding hundreds of healthcare workers by purchasing meals from 18 local restaurants. The "Hot House Tavern" in Menomonee Falls is one of the places involved in the initiative. On the day we stopped by, "Hot House" was preparing 30 different sandwiches, either meat or veggie, for workers at Community Memorial Hospital in the Falls. Those with this project say feeding some hungry people is the least they can do. Each lunch order includes a $250 tip for the staff of each restaurant as well.
