One Killed, One Shot by Brother, One Shot after Hearing Gunfire in Violent Evening

The Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating three shootings that occurred in the city Saturday evening. 

At 5:56 PM in the 2400 block of N. 38th St. A 24-year-old man from Kenosha suffered a fatal gunshot wound and died on scene despite the life saving efforts by Milwaukee police and fire personnel.

At 5:26 PM in the 6100 block of N. 40th Street a 54-year-old man was shot after a fight with his 65-year-old brother who shot him. The victim suffered a non-life threatening injury and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The brother remained on scene and was arrested by first responding officers.

At 4:00 PM in the 3000 block of N. 24th Place a 27-year-old Milwaukee woman reported she heard shots and then realized she had been shot. She is uncooperative with investigators who continue to seek the circumstances surrounding this incident. She suffered a non-life threatening injury and is currently at a local hospital for treatment.

All three incidents are under investigation.
