One dead, one injured in shooting near 91st and Silver Spring

A double shooting Friday evening has left one person dead and another person injured.

The shooting happened shortly after 6 p.m. near 91st and Silver Spring.

A 30-year-old man died on the scene despite the efforts of the Milwaukee Fire Department.

A 29-year-old woman sustained non-life threatening injuries and is being treated at a local hospital.

The Milwaukee Police continue to search for suspects and a motive.

The investigation remains ongoing.
