1 killed, several injured in crash near 35th and Park Hill
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a deadly crash that occurred Sunday, Oct. 29 near 35th and Park.
Police say a car that had just left the freeway at a high rate of speed, hit a curb near 35th and Park Hill before striking another car, rolling over and hitting a utility pole.
Officials say the vehicle that was struck collided into a building, and the driver was killed. A 28-year-old passenger in the vehicle was treated for non-fatal injuries at an area hospital.
The driver of the striking vehicle, a 57-year-old man, was arrested. Three passengers in his vehicle, including a 45-year-old, 39-year-old and 36-year-old, were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Criminal charges will be referred to the District Attorney's Office.
